You did a great job on the Tropical Chic Paradise
episode on HGTV. I missed how you did the coiled
design that hung on the wall. Any pointers? It looked
cool. Happy Holidays.

I would like to know purchasing information on the
iron lounge chairs that you used in the Outer spaces
episode, especially the oversized chair/chaise.

Thanks in advance,

Hi Jules-

Beautiful design! I met you at the Outer Spaces wrap
party, maybe you remember me. You were wonderful on camera too! Hope to see you again and good luck with
the response from the show!

Hello,

I recently saw the makeover that you did on this
episode of Outer Spaces. It was titled "Tropical Chic
Paradise". The entire concept and finished product were beautiful. I was curious because it seemed as though the partition walls were made out of painted plywood. I wondered if this is so and what type of anchoring system did you use to install them in the ground, and if these walls would with stand sun and wind?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions and again your work was beautiful.

Regards,
Sherry Maatta

Hi Jules!!!

I'm Sherri Ziff Lester, I had a backyard makeover on Outer Spaces, and you were the original designer, and then you had to leave the project to do something else.... I hope you remember. I was so disappointed that you had to go, you have such a great energy, you're obviously so creative, you're amazing. I saw the makeover you did the week before our episode aired -- wow!!!! So incredible!!!!

Sincerely,
Sherri Ziff Lester

Jules,

Hi, I saw your show on HGTV and am so impressed. It was beautiful. Will you be doing more shows and can I hire you? My husband and I live in San Francisco and need a backyard make-over badly! He loved what you did and it is very rare that he will watch these shows with me.

Thanks and good luck,

Cindy Matheson

Jules,

Hi, I saw your work on HGTV and I am interested in consulting with you about designing my front and backyard space. I live in the Sherman Oaks
area.

Thanks, Nhin Ho

Dear Jules,

I never caught what the two partition walls were made of in the Tropical Chic Paradise Episode of Outer Spaces. I started watching the episode at the point when the Styrofoam pot was glued on to hide where the hose came through the wall. I love the idea of partition walls. I live in New England and wonder what materials I could make some of?

Thank you,
Jane Cabot

Help! I would like to get a closer look at the beautiful arbor you folks made in this episode. It's exactly what I am looking for. Is there someone I can contact for information. The web page gave credit to its maker, but I would like to know more details if you have them available. Thanks!

Jules,

We loved your Arts and Crafts yard. Do you have digital pictures of it, as we would love to try and recreate this. Please let us know when you will be on again, as we have enjoyed your designs the most!

Many thanks,

Thanks! You're the best!!!!! (Never thought I'd hear from you). We live in Ohio and have quite the backyard to do. A new development... and our back yard actually faces the main street in the development. Need any yards to do in Ohio??????????

Jules,

Thank you again for your reply. Great ideas with using the yard for additional living space. We should and will support HGTV. When you do get the budget for Ohio.. think of us! Probably by then, we'll be the ones for the makeover.

Ms. Moore:
I always watch Suzie on her show and love it. But she never has anyone in the desert to landscape for. We moved out to Laughlin, NV 3 years ago, had landscapers do our front & back yard and almost everything has died and we had to replace plants several times. The landscapers would only warranty one time. (replacement) My husband and I have had to replace several times. Can you help in what plants to plant? We also have a dog that loves to investigate, more like a snoop, so sharp, prickly cactus for the backyard are out of the question.

Hope you can give us some insight.

Thank you,
Sherrie Shields

As an Interior Designer I could appreciate your development of the outdoor rooms. I also do exteriors teamed up with a great landscaper and pool designer. A year ago we were featured on Ground Breakers (June 2003) and I was totally deleted from the filming and the credits-so I take every opportunity I can to compliment others work. Great Job! Would you be kind enough to share the paint color for the concrete wall with me-I have a courtyard that I am starting on and the color is very serene. Again I enjoyed the show-Thanks -Marsha Luke

Loved what you did in the transformation of a very plain yard to a Tropical Space. I missed how to make the swirled plaster wall hanging.

Would it be possible for you to send me the directions? Thank you!

HI there!!!! My name is Zaina and I absolutely loved and literally fell off my couch in amazement when I saw the "TROPICAL CHIC" backyard makeover I saw on HGTV. I'm writing to you from Florida, and I have a beautiful 2 storey, house with 18 foot ceilings and a large lake view in my backyard. I love contemporary, minimalist, industrialist as well as Japanese style interiors but I have no clue where to begin from though I'm an artist myself...actually I'm a singer/song writer/ model, who loves to paint, mother of a feisty 2 year old boy and housewife who's real full time profession is a cardiac nurse. So you can imagine...I wish I could just rub a magic lamp and have you appear in my living room to help me out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well anyway, let me set my wishes aside...I was just writing to ask you if you could kindly tell me what was the name of the color you choose to paint the partition wall in that tropical chic episode. I want to paint an accent wall in my house that rich chocolaty color (the rest of the house is painted "white gold", it's a light beige with a glowing quality).
Can't wait to hear from you,

Sincerely,
Zaina

Dear Jules,
I saw your designs and I fell in love with the Tropical Chic backyard you gave Lily and Glen. I especially loved the wall idea because we need some privacy in our backyard.
My husband and I live in Ojai and I was wondering if you ever come up this way?

Also, can you give me a rough idea of your cost for your designs and/ or your time. Thank you in advance for your time and once again great show and great results !!!!!!!
